4. I see a "Scripting Error" message.

This problem appears in Internet Explorer 4.0 or 4.01. There are two solutions: Download the free Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack at http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/iebuild/ie4sp1_win32/en/ie4sp1_win32.htm Upgrade to Internet Explorer 5 (or higher) for free at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

5. I get an error message (Javascript and so on) or it freezes.
  • Use the latest version of your browser: Microsoft IE 5.x (or higher) or Netscape Communicator 4.7 (or higher.).
  • Use the latest version of the Java Virtual Machine. Visit microsoft.com, select "search by keyword," and look for Microsoft VM.
  • Windows NT users should read http://www.ufaq.org/commonly/java_remedy.html.
