How to print an applet?

If your web browser allows you to print an applet, it’s fine. If not (it’s general):

  1. Run an applet.
  2. If the "Design completed" message shown, click the panel that you want to print out.
  3. Copy a screen dump of the active window (i.e. applet) by holding down the 'Alt' key and pressing the "Print Screen" button. This "Print Screen" button is usually placed next to the function keys. You need to make sure that the applet is the active window. To do so, simply use the mouse to select the applet window. (Alternatively, you can copy the whole screen image using the "Print Screen" button only.)
  4. Run the "Paint" program. (Start -> Program -> Accessories -> Paint) (Or, you can use the "MicroSoft Word" or any other software depending on your favor.)
  5. Paste the active window image or the whole screen image. ('Ctrl' + V or Edit -> Paste)
  6. Print. (Before printing, changing the orientation of the paper to "Landscape" often helps to print an applet within a page. File -> Page Setup).
